The Ringgold Area Youth Soccer Association is an organized non-profit soccer program for
the youth within the greater Ringgold Area School District communities. We hope through your
financial assistance we can continue to bring quality soccer, discipline and positive role models
to all of our youth. There are fees and costs associated with team and player registration. Your
generous gift will ensure everyone has the opportunity to play by helping offset some of those
fees and league operating costs. Any remaining balance will help RAYSA provide further skill
development programs, new equipment and supplies, and subsidize other additional playing
opportunities like camps, clinics, tournaments, indoor seasons, etc. to the children in our local
communities.
Financial sponsorships and donations are being sought from local individuals, businesses, and
organizations to support the Ringgold Area Youth Soccer Association. Your contribution will
enable RAYSA to continue its core mission to develop youth players at all levels of ability by
building and improving their soccer skills, confidence, fitness, initiative and a sense of
teamwork. RAYSA encourages and promotes ethical and moral behavior, good sportsmanship
and community involvement.
Recreational soccer U6 to U10 age groups in RAYSA are primarily devoted to the enjoyment
and development of soccer players without an increased emphasis on travel or high level
competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants
to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game. RAYSA
also provides a separate Lil Rams program which is an introduction to soccer play for children
beginning at 3 years old.
Travel Soccer U10 to U18 is devoted to player and team development in a more competitive
environment. As players become more skilled, desire a more competitive soccer environment,
and become willing to commit greater time to training, the Travel program exists for them as a
higher level athletic experience.
Take advantage of a great opportunity to highlight your business to the 200+ RAYSA families
participating every Fall and Spring youth soccer season. An average regular season game day
weekend will see an average of around 1,000 friends and families of the players at our youth
soccer fields between our In-House and Travel age group teams. Our annual end-of-season
Spring In-House tournament will bring even more family and friends to the soccer fields in a
single day. Every Fall and Spring season our youth soccer league will host 8 weekends of
games bringing in not only friends and families within the Ringgold communities but also from
many points across western Pennsylvania.
